The Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference on 9–10 April 2019 in Lübeck gathers people responsible for allocating these EU funds as well as for using them. The aim of the Conference is to exchange about progress made and to understand what transnational Interreg cooperation has achieved for the region to date.
BalticSatApps will be featured on the conference by the Lead partner Project manager, Tuomas Ranti from the University of Turku. BalticSatApps will be an example of ”Projects and platforms: What is being achieved”, in the heading of ”Research infrastructure for innovation”. This is a great opportunity to emphasise the case examples of business utilization of open Earth observation and satellite data, and also to present the pioneering cooperation on the thematic with the Russian Federation.
