WeSeaChallenge

WeSeaChallenge is an open idea competition, where novel solutions for supporting the sustainable planning and monitoring of marine environment are sought. We want to involve diverse talents around the Baltic Sea to come up with their ideas. Whether you are inspired by science, business, technology, design, communications, or merely of personal interest, you are welcome!

WeSeaChallenge seeks ideas, where satellite data is used together with other sources of information, to support the planning and monitoring of aquatic activities. You can choose from three challenge categories, each with special prize for the winner. The total prize pool of the competition is 8500 euros.
You can submit your idea on how to generate actionable intelligence and situational awareness of state of the environment and use this information for Baltic Sea sustainability goals. Your proposal can be in form of a concept or a technical prototype. No programming skills are needed for participating in WeSeaChallenge.
The competition is international and will therefore take place in English.
